Previously, he drove a powerful Volvo 142, but soon longed for even more power.
So he decided for the classic 1 953 Volvo PV444 and forgave him with an extensive conversion a 6 Riehen 2JZ-GTE with gesteckt 3.4 liters. With its huge loader from Precision, it achieves an output of approx. 800 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque.
The 6-speed gearbox, on the other hand, does not come from a Toyota Supra MK4, but from a BMW 530d, whose power is transmitted by a three-disc Tilton clutch to the Mustang axle shaft. The suspension, however, is an in-house development by Stig himself.
In Norway, the conversion is now well known and the vehicle recently won a prize in the "Top 10 Street Car and People's Choice Award" at the Oslow Motor Shop
